About the event

This three-day meditation retreat introduces beginners to the Buddhist understanding of meditation as training the mind, not trying to stop thoughts or create special states. Through gentle guidance, silence, and simple practices, participants learn how to be present with experience as it is, with clarity and kindness.

Drawing on foundational Buddhist principles, the retreat explores how meditation helps us recognize habitual patterns of distraction, reactivity, and self-judgment, and relate to them with greater ease.

Participants will be introduced to:

• Mindfulness of body and breath

• Awareness of thoughts and emotions without grasping or aversion

• Cultivating kindness and compassion toward oneself and others
