Harare Buddhist Centre is delighted to announce that, under the guidance of Lama Rinchen from Kagyu Samye Dzong Brussels (via Zoom), we will host a Nyungney Retreat at Susurumba Retreat Centre. The last full set of Nyungneys (8 pairs) offered in Harare was in 2002, and we warmly encourage Dharma practitioners across southern Africa to join in this rare and precious opportunity.
What Is Nyungney?
Nyungney is a traditional Buddhist practice that combines discipline and meditation to help us purify our negativities and develop wise compassion. The practice benefits the world by cultivating individual compassion, which then contributes to collective harmony, peace, and the purification of negative karma on a global scale.
